Update for the U.S. – Mexico Border.

The restrictions remain the same with only essential travel, meaning that if you have to cross the border for medical reasons, you can still go without a problem and commercial departure options remain available.

The Department of State advises U.S. citizens to avoid all international travel at this time due to the global impact of COVID-19. Many areas throughout the world are now experiencing COVID-19 outbreaks and taking action that may limit traveler mobility. Many travelers worldwide have reported unexpected flight cancellations and limited flight availability. 

If you are further south, check with your airlines, cruise lines, or travel operators regarding any updated information about your travel plans and/or restrictions.

Also, if you receive mail in the U.S., some mail service providers are having challenges bringing mail down to Rosarito, so if you are expecting medication or something more urgent, talk to your mail service provider or have somebody help you pick up your mail.
